Basketmouth has once again dissociated himself from being friends with fellow comedian Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY.
During an appearance on media personality Nedu’s podcast, Honest Bunch, Basketmouth discussed why the feud had lasted so long.
He said “AY is not my friend, I didn’t invite him or his wife to my wedding, they just came themselves. I only invited my friends.”
Recall that AY had shared his version of events and the cause of the 17-year-old feud between him and Basketmouth.
Stating why they should let go of past issues, he said, “We are successful now, and let things be in the past”
AY further claimed that a business transaction had gone wrong, and in his attempt to get his money from Basketmouth, he made the wrong decision.
In the new interview with Nedu, Basketmouth addressed AY’s allegations against him by providing precise details of what happened.
The comic star clarified that he is not friends with AY and that he never invited AY or his wife to his wedding. He stated.
The interview with Nedu is the most recent of how far apart the ex-friends and colleagues have become, in what has been a series since AY has opened up in the feud last month.
