Okwilague Shamac Ibrahim: adding colours to Nigeria’s movie industry

A movie premiere seems to be a major deal for the film industry, and typically the location of the premiere is not a problem because not every country has a proactive mainstream media. In the case of Nigeria, Okwilague Shamac Ibrahim, also known as Greatiby, one of the executive producers of the movie Passport, noted that the aim behind the movie; was to convey a sense of solidity.

The narrative of Oscar and Funke, two characters on different ends of the expanse who are both incredibly lonely and looking for some excitement, is followed throughout the movie. One of them is a wealthy youth who must team up with a ghetto tomgirl to locate his stolen passport lest he misses a flight to an interview that could alter the course of his life.

Adunni Ade, Latiff Adedimeji, Zubby Michael, Etinosa, Nas Boi, Lasisi Elenu, Jim Iyke, Gedoni of BBN, and other actors were among the cast members that attended the movie premiere. A few of these performers were profiled while on the red carpet; as customary, Nas Boi found the scene to be humorous and posted a remark praising the film.

The preponderance of the praise was due to these actors’ assertions to their followers to see the film. Amazingly, one can tell from the internet snippets and promos that the film is a must-watch and impossible to put down.
