Be righteous in your public and private lives, Muoka tells christians

The General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has reminded Christians that unrighteousness and materialism have no place in God’s kingdom, adding that without holiness and righteousness no man can see God.

He urged Christians to shun fornication, adultery, idolatry, lesbianism and all forms of ungodliness, stressing that those who indulge in these vices are seeking the wrath of God.

The cleric said this last week, while preaching at the Sunday Service at the church’s headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos, and on the topic, “Total Transformation Of Life.”

“The unrighteous cannot inherit God’s kingdom, so, be warned because the time is now very short. It is better for you to enter heaven with one eye than to have the complete body and miss heaven. The conclusion of the matter is that if you are not born again, embrace Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and as you do this, the old man will be destroyed and you will have a new nature to please God in all that you do.

Muoka called on Christians to lead a righteousness lifestyle both in public and in the private, adding that by so doing they will glorify God. He noted that total transformation is the work of Jesus Christ and not by any other means.

According to him, there is nothing like half-transformation, for it is either you are born again or not. Speaking on the benefits of true transformation, the cleric maintained that Christians are the light of the world and are expected to model their lives after Christ.

“If you have not experienced a change of heart, then you need to be born again, get transformed and live your life according to the plan and purpose of God. When you love somebody, you cannot hate the person, have the spirit of God, maintain purity of heart as you hunger and thirst for righteousness; or only the righteous shall see God,” he said.
