The tour aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and is expected to address critical challenges while unlocking opportunities in Nigeria’s industrial sector.
According to Enoh, the initiative will serve as a catalyst for industrial growth, promote innovation, and support the private sector, which plays a pivotal role in driving economic development.
As part of his itinerary, the Minister will hold high-level discussions with the Governors of Lagos and Ogun States, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Mr. Dapo Abiodun, respectively.
Additionally, he will inspect select industries across the two states, including Sunflag Nigeria Limited, GB Foods, Friesland Campina Nigeria Plc, Berger Paints, Mojec International Limited, Coleman Wire & Cable, Equipment and Protective Application International Limited (EPAIL), and Veenocks Tiles.
The industrial tour is a key component of the Tinubu administration’s Industrial Revolution Agenda and aligns with the Minister’s six priority areas, which include, the Nigeria Automotive Industry Development Plan (NAIDP); Special Agro-Processing Zones (SAPZ); Cotton, Textiles and Garments (CTG) Industry; Petrochemical, Chemical & Pharmaceutical Manufacturing; MSME Census and Industrial Revolution Work Group (IRWG).
The three-day tour is expected to yield insights that will shape future industrial policies, ensuring that Nigeria’s manufacturing sector remains competitive and globally relevant.
