Nigeria is set to host over 20 countries in the 2025 edition of Investopia Africa to explore investment opportunities in energy, agriculture, fintech, artificial intelligence and healthcare.

The event, which will be held at the Eko Atlantic City, Lagos, in September 2025, will also feature high-impact business matchmaking sessions, further solidifying Nigeria’s position as a key economic driver and investment destination.

Investopia, established in 2021 under the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Excellency Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy, has rapidly evolved into a leading platform for global investment and economic partnerships.

The Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole, hailed the event as a testament to Nigeria’s growing economic appeal, noting that the expansion of Investopia to Africa reflects the UAE’s commitment to unlocking new investment frontiers.

She said it also recognises Nigeria’s rapid economic transformation under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reforms, noting that these policies have enhanced the country’s business climate, making it an attractive hub for global capital inflows.

“Hosting Investopia Africa 2025 in Nigeria reaffirms our transformation into a leading investment hub. Our reforms are creating a stable, transparent, and high-growth economy. We look forward to welcoming investors from around the world to Nigeria,” Oduwole said.

The UAE Minister of Economy, Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, said the initiative fosters high-level engagement among investors, business leaders, and policymakers, driving growth in emerging industries.

Bin Touq emphasised the UAE’s commitment to strengthening its trade and investment relationship with Africa.

According to him, Africa is a key trade and investment partner for the UAE with some of the world’s fastest-growing markets.

He said with Investopia, Nigeria will unlock new economic opportunities for both Emirati and African private sectors.

The minister said the event will also showcase the UAE’s attractiveness for investments in energy, agriculture, fintech, artificial intelligence, and health care.

He said the event will attract thousands of participants and over 100 speakers from more than 20 countries, focusing on the key sector.
