Onga rewards over 1,000 consumers
Onga, the seasoning brand from Promasidor Nigeria, has rewarded over 1,000 consumers with more than N250 million in cash and other prizes through its promotional campaign aimed at alleviating economic hardship among Nigerians.
The recently concluded 12-week “Taste the Millions Nation Consumer Promo” saw 80 people win N1 million each, 40 got N500,000 each, 80 received N100,000 each, 320 win N50,000 each, while 2,600 win N10,000 each.
Additionally, 1,832 participants received gas cookers, blenders, and airtime as part of the rewards.
Speaking at the grand finale of the promo, the Culinary Category Manager of Promasidor Nigeria, Oladapo Oshuntoye, expressed excitement about the winners’ joyful reactions, especially given the current state of the economy.
He stated that the promo aimed to reward loyal customers with a prize pool of N250 million as a token of appreciation for their continued patronage.
Oshuntoye added that he was delighted to see the positive impact the initiative would have on the lives of the winners and consumers.
Some of the winners include Usman Abdullahi from Kano, Grace Unyime Edet from Akwa Ibom, Ezedike Chisom from Owerri, Kedaye Okon Asako from Calabar, Tijjani Alfa from Minna, Sharifat Abdulafeez from Minna, Akinleye Adesola Obafemi from Osogbo, and Abdulwahab Mohd from Sokoto.
Others include Nuhu Olobo Abdulsalam from Abuja and Ipinlaiye Modupe Abigael from Ibadan. Winners of the N500,000 prize included Glory Ime Ekpenyong from Akwa Ibom, Yusuf Olatunji from Lagos, Musa Yahaya from Minna, Maria Anthony from Katsina, and Muhammad Suleiman from Minna.
The Culinary Brand Manager of Promasidor Nigeria, Lilian Omorenuwa, described the event as a significant milestone in Onga’s commitment to its customers.
