Famous Tv Host Jerry Springer Dies At 79


Jerry Springer, the host of the famous talk show ‘The Jerry Springer Show,’ passed away at his home in the Chicago area aged 79 after battling pancreatic cancer, according to sources close to him.


He was diagnosed with the illness a few months ago. Despite this, a family spokesperson has mentioned that Jerry had been dealing with a brief illness.

Before becoming a talk show host, Springer had a successful political career, serving as a Cincinnati City Council member and the city’s mayor in 1977.

His show initially focused on political issues in 1991, but it later became a popular and chaotic talk show, surpassing Oprah Winfrey’s show in some cities.

The show ran for 27 years and ended in 2018. Jerry’s courtroom show, ‘Judge Jerry,’ followed and aired for three seasons.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Katie Springer, and his older sister, Evelyn. May his soul rest in peace.
