Fashion lovers and Lagos socialites from far and near were all in attendance to celebrate with one of their own in grand style. Hosted by star actress, Bimbo Thomas, DJ Moonlait was on the wheels of steel to thrill attendees.
Popular Lagos socialite, Alhaja Folany and Akinsinku of Lagos were the mother and father of the day respectively. The opening also witnessed a massive turnout of Nollywood stars, including Dayo Amusa, Bimbo Thomas, Peggy Ovire, and a host of others who showed up to show solidarity with a friend of the industry.
Animashaun told The Guardian that she started the brand under two years ago because of her love for fashion. Admitting that she is a fashionista to the core, she added that she always drew admiring glances each time she goes out for events or parties and decided to put her knowledge and passion for fashion to good use business-wise. “Many of my friends kept pressurising me to get them some of the outfits I wear to events and since I have a strong passion for fashion, I decided to go into the business fully and I am happy to say that it has indeed paid off,” she said.
Initially, I only concentrated on clients abroad, but my friends and fans kept disturbing me and I decided to just go ahead and open a shop so that I can easily attend to clients both home and abroad,” she said.
