President Bola Tinubu on Friday departed Abuja for Ibadan, Oyo State, where he is expected to attend the coronation of former governor Rashidi Ladoja as the new Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The President left the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 12:45 p.m. and will join other dignitaries at the historic Mapo Hall for the traditional installation ceremony.

Ladoja, who once governed Oyo State, was selected as the 44th Olubadan following the death of Oba Owolabi Olakulehin on July 7, 2025.
