With an illustrious career spanning over 30 years in the Marketing Communications industry, Yomi Badejo-Okusanya is a true icon. Affectionately called YBO, Badejo-Okusanya is the Group Managing Director at CMC Connect (Perception Managers). In 2010, he became the first recipient of the PR Golden Eagle Award as the Most Outstanding Public Relations Person of the Year. His remarkable journey continued with numerous accolades, including being the inaugural recipient of the Bob Ogbuagu Leadership Award in 2017.  As a Board Member of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), he played a pivotal role in mainstreaming Africa into global PR practice. His selfless service to the African Public Relations Association (APRA) as a two-term Secretary-General and two-term President (2016-2023) has been instrumental in elevating the profession on the continent.
