Firms bridge gaps in access to quality prosthetic care
Two providers of prosthetic and orthotic solutions – Ottobock and IfeanHealth have celebrated the 10th anniversary of Stanbic IBTC’s Together-4-A-Limb (T4AL) programme, which transformed the lives of 136 beneficiaries with the provision of prosthetic limbs and provided educational trust funds.
The celebration was part of a series of strategic meetings of Ottobock in Nigeria, with its partner, IfeanHealth, as part of its 2024 Business Review and 2025 Forward Planning engagement.
IfeanHealth serves as Stanbic IBTC’s dedicated partner for delivering limbs to T4AL beneficiaries. Under the leadership of Founder and Managing Director, Ejike Anih, the firm said it is at the forefront of bridging gaps in access to quality prosthetic care and empowering individuals with limb loss to lead active and independent lives.
During a courtesy visit to Stanbic IBTC, the Ottobock delegation, led by its Area Manager for East, West, and Central Africa and Managing Director of Ottobock Kenya, Kingsley Diores, reaffirmed its unwavering support for IfeanHealth’s mission, committing to sustained collaboration to further the T4AL programme.
To emphasise this support, Ottobock has featured the T4AL initiative across its global platforms, including publications, magazines, websites, and intranet channels, reaching audiences in over 100 countries.
Diores said: “This milestone highlights the transformative power of collaboration in changing lives. We are thrilled to deepen our engagement in Nigeria and bolster our support for IfeanHealth as they impact the lives of individuals with mobility needs.”
On his part, Anih added: “Our partnership with Ottobock amplifies our reach, enabling us to provide life-changing support to those in need. We remain committed to empowering the communities we serve by making high-quality prosthetics accessible to all.”
IfeanHealth is a U.S.-founded Health Tech company specialising in prosthetics and orthotics care, with a growing presence in Nigeria.
