The Board of Trustees of the Nigerian Law Society (NLS) has approved the appointment of nine persons as Interim National Executive Committee of the society.
Chairman of the board, Chief Bolaji Ayorinde, on behalf of the Board of Trustees, in a statement, noted that the interim committee would be for one year, taking effect from Thursday, August 1, 2024, to Thursday, July 31, 2025.

The committee includes president, Chief Mela Nunghe; first vice president, Nimi Walson-Jack; second vice president, Mallam Abdulqadir Sani; general secretary, Mr. Steve Abar; assistant general secretary, Alice Awonugba; financial secretary, Zara Yakub; treasurer, Chioma Ferguson; publicity secretary, Mr. Stephen Nwankwo and welfare secretary, Mr. Oluniyi Adediji.

Ayorinde noted that the committee will organise the yearly general conference for 2025 and also coordinate the National Election to usher in the National Executive Committee of the NLS, both to be held in the last week of July 2025.
