Nikon hits Nigeria market with innovative hybrid camera

Nikon at a meeting with the stakeholders in Lagos displayed the features as well as the functionalities of what was described as the “best hybrid camera” Z6 III, being released into the market to the admiration of the participants.

Nikon Incorporated, a global business organisation that has caught a niche for itself, specialises in production of clear images, instruments, precision making and optics. Head of Sales and Strategy, Nikon Middle East and Africa, Akshay Talwar at the event after the amazing display of the performance of the hybrid camera said Nikon serves more than 45 countries, the entire middle East as well countries in African continent. He premised the launch of the camera on the importance attached to both Africa and Nigeria markets.

“So it’s quite an interesting region, very varied, very diverse. African continent is very important to us where business has been doing well for us and where we have high hopes. And the best thing which is important to us is that if you look at the entire African landscape, Nigeria is one of our top three markets.

“So it’s contribution, not just in terms of business, but also the kind of creative voices that come out of the country are very important. Today, we have been able to introduce three professionals who tried Nikon Z6 III, which we are launching today. Now these are guys who had not used the Z6 III before but for the purpose of this launch provided them the camera ahead of this event” he said

Akshay who was visibly happy and excited at the event said the latest camera indeed exhibited quality performance as a world class image producer.

He added that the performance of the camera has given Nikon a lot of encouragement that would enable it to do more by moving to the next level and also further partner with the users of the camera, create contents together in Nigeria and for Nigerians with a view to providing Nikon’s multinational platform for the Nigerian creators to showcase their work in the region.
Nikon consultant in Nigeria, Richard Eko described the new camera as an innovation that is all encompassing, video-wise for Nigeria market.

He added that introduction of Z6 III is an attestation to the commitment of Nikon to the various users of its products in Nigeria such as photographers and others after its absence in the market for the last four years.

“Nikon is committed to meeting the needs of its diverse customers and is working on a system whereby photographers can afford to buy the camera over a period of time with the assistance of one or two financial outfits” he said.

Travel and wildlife photographer, Yobel Muchang, from Dubai who participated in the demonstration described Z6 III as multi-purpose hybrid camera with high resolution which functions with low light and would remain in the market for at least the next three years.
Gbadamosi Adeyemi who also took part in the demonstration described Z6 III as a camera whose processor is amazing with ability to work perfectly with low light.

Chief Executive Officer, Speaking Fingers Network, Mrs. Treasure Uchegbu who was at the event to carry the deaf and dumb along commended Nikon for coming up with such sophisticated camera that can also be used by deaf and dumb.
