Luke 7:12-16 says: “And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: and they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when he saw them, he said unto them: ‘Go shew yourselves unto the priests.’ And it came to pass that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.”
In this programme, tagged, “From Sorrow to Joy,” anything that has been making you sorrowful will give way for joy. I don’t know what is dead in your family or things that make you sorrowful, but I know that the Lord will visit your situation. I am assuring you that God will roll away your problems and you will rejoice in Jesus’ name.
Acts 8:5-8 says: “Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things, which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles, which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voices came out of many that were possessed them, and many taken with paralyses, and that were lame, healed. And there was great joy in that city.” I want to let you know, today, that all the problems giving you sorrow and torment will be removed in Jesus’ name. The Lord will definitely make you to rejoice, as He caused joy in Samaria.
The problems that many people are currently passing through have made them sorrowful and always weeping in secret. These problems sometimes appear to be beyond human remedies, especially as they have gone to different places for solutions and yet, the problems are not solved, rather they are getting worse.
Some have suffered so much in the hands of false prophets, in the hands of human agents of the devil, and in the hands of physicians that have tried to offer some remedies, yet there are no solutions. Some, indeed, have spent huge sums of money, yet there is nothing to show for it. But in this programme, the Lord will give you remedy. I don’t know what you are going through or what has made people to ask you: “Where is your God?” If that is your condition, God will appear in your situation. As God intervened in the life of that only son of the widow that was carried away for burial and the young man came back to life, so, shall He intervene for you. He will instead of sorrow and weeping give you joy. The Lord will intervene in your situation, and there shall be no more weeping and sorrow in your life in Jesus’ name.
If you are among those passing through any of the difficult situations, I congratulate you because this programme is for you. The God of Chosen will surely make you to rejoice in Jesus’ name.
Matthew 19:26 says: “But Jesus beheld them and said unto them, with men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Men and women that claimed to have remedies to your problems may have disappointed you, making you to lose huge sums of money and compounding the problems, I am assuring you today that you will never go back the same. Every problem you brought here, the Lord will take them away.
Take note: He is the all-sufficient God. He doesn’t need anything from anybody to exist. He is not like human beings who need something from people to exist. The problem that has been there before your birth, or the one you inherited from your mother or parents will all end today.
Psalm 62:11 says: “God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.” It is very clear that power belongeth unto God. 2 Corinth 3:5 says: “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God.”
God is our sufficiency, meaning that this God has all things. God doesn’t need any help from any human being to exist. In any area that we are lacking, in any area that we have need, as long as we are in Him; as long as we believe in Him; as long as we are His children, I am assuring you, He will meet all our needs in Jesus’ name.
Finally, it will be well for those who are not born again or backsliders to confess their sins and surrender their lives to Jesus Christ. Make Him your Lord and Personal Saviour. The Bible says a Christian is not a sinner and a sinner is not a Christian.
1John 3:8-9 says: “He that committeth sin is of the devil, for the devil sinneth from the beginning, for this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and cannot sin, because he is born of God.”
May be you are asking: What is sin? 1John 5:17(a) says: “All unrighteousness is a sin.” You need to search your life, confess any unrighteousness, renounce them and promise God never to do them any more. Honestly from today, it shall be well with you.
Proverbs 28:13 says: “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper, but whosoever confessed and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” If you are still asking, what is sin? Note it that, every act of unrighteousness, unbelief, hatred, selfishness, un-forgiveness, bitterness, keeping malice, bearing grudge, are all terrible sins. Immoral thoughts, covetousness, pride, among others are part of them; confess them and tell God that you are sorry that you will not do them again; then receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
From today, begin to live a righteous life in Christ Jesus, and you will be God’s friend.
