Achieving excellence in healthcare through management framework
As the healthcare sector strives to meet growing patient needs and deliver sustainable outcomes, Olalekan Kehinde has introduced the Benefits Realization Management Framework (BRMF); noting that this innovative framework ensures healthcare projects achieve measurable, long-term value.
Kehinde, a seasoned healthcare project manager and innovator, in a statement disclosed that he developed the BRMF to address critical gaps in healthcare initiative execution and sustainability.
He explained that the framework aligns projects with strategic goals, providing lasting benefits for patients and stakeholders. “The BRMF bridges the gap between project implementation and sustained success using tools like Benefit Maps, Benefit Registers and Benefit Profiles. These tools help organizations track, measure and maintain outcomes.
“Achieving Strategic Excellence in Healthcare Projects, showcases the BRMF’s application in significant healthcare initiatives, such as ERP implementations. The framework has streamlined workflows, reduced inefficiencies and improved resource utilisation. For instance, in one ERP implementation, the BRMF contributed to a 25 per cent reduction in operational inefficiencies, leading to faster patient discharge times and better resource management,” he shared.
He further extends his expertise by training healthcare professionals globally, on applying the BRMF. He advocates for integrating innovative technologies like predictive analytics and machine learning into healthcare systems.
“Combining the BRMF with technologies like machine learning enables organisations predict patient needs, optimise resource allocation and reduce care delivery delays,” he remarked.
Kehinde’s achievements include leading the inclusion of the first triple therapy single-pill combination in Nigeria’s National Health Insurance Scheme (NHMF), improving medication adherence for patients with chronic conditions.
Through the BRMF, global training efforts and focus on strategic excellence, he is shaping the future of healthcare systems. By combining structured methodologies with cutting-edge technologies, he is helping organisations unlock potential, improve patient outcomes and build resilient healthcare systems.
