The tech landscape in Nigeria can not be discussed without the mention of Eshuofune Godswill, a 28 years old tech expert. Godswill is the founder of Aapeli Consult LTD and her name stands out not only for her achievements but for the remarkable journey that led her there. In her late twenties, Godswill has carved a niche in the tech industry, overcoming challenges that might have stopped others in their tracks.
Born in Delta State and raised in Ogun and Niger State, Godswill has always had a knack for problem-solving. However, her path to success wasn’t straightforward. Diagnosed with dyslexia, she struggled with spelling and pronunciation, making traditional academic pursuits challenging. When she discovered her passion for technology, she faced yet another hurdle—she didn’t own a computer.
“I started learning programming by writing code in a notebook,” Godswill recalls. “It sounds crazy now, but that’s all I had. I would watch YouTube tutorials, copy what I saw, and imagine how it would work on a real screen. It wasn’t until I saved enough money that I could buy my first computer. That moment changed everything.”
From those humble beginnings, Godswill taught himself programming, web design, and data analysis, gradually building a reputation as a skilled problem-solver. In 2019, she founded Puffy Arts, a branding and design agency, which later evolved into Aapeli Consult LTD. Today, her company is a hub for innovative business solutions, tech training, and global relocation assistance.
Her story is as much about personal resilience as it is about creating opportunities for others. Over the past four years, Godswill has trained more than 160 individuals in coding and data analysis—many of them for free. In 2023 alone, her team provided free training to over 60 students, three of whom successfully relocated abroad on global talent visas.
“I know what it’s like to struggle alone,” Godswill says. “That’s why I’m committed to helping others navigate this journey. No one should have to figure everything out by themselves.”
Her impact extends beyond individual lives. Through Aapeli Consult LTD, she has helped over 70 people relocate for educational and work opportunities and consulted on skill acquisition programs for political representatives.
Despite her growing success, Godswill remains grounded and focused on expanding his vision. She is currently developing a platform to connect tech trainees directly with employers, aiming to tackle unemployment and the tech skills gap in Nigeria.
Godswill’s journey is a testament to the power of perseverance, self-learning, and giving back. Her story inspires and serves as a blueprint for others striving to make a difference despite the odds.
