Towards access to affordable health care and increased awareness of mental health issues especially amongst people living in Lagos State, Jars Education Group will on Thursday July 15, at The Soujourner (The Genesis Hotels), Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja GRA, Lagos, inaugurate the Lagos Community Trauma-Care Initiative.
President, Jars Education Group, Prof. Dotun Merino, in a statement, said: “We acknowledge the shared persuasion that affordable health care which includes mental health system integration is an important and worthwhile undertaking.”
Merino said this initiative by Jars Therapeutics, a division of Jars Group is to satisfy the need for affordable world-class mental health care and treatment in Lagos using Trauma training and State of the Art wellness facilities called Aşakę Wellness Centers in such a manner that can readily maintain a steady growth that will sustain the facilities for many years.
