Lagos State Commissioner of Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, on Saturday announced that the Third Mainland Bridge will be fully reopened on Thursday, April 4.

The Third Mainland Bridge was closed for some months to allow extensive repair work to be carried out.

“Dear Lagos Residents, we sincerely thank you for your patience and cooperation, and we look forward to even smoother travels ahead,” said Osiyemi on X.

The full reopening of the Third Mainland Bridge is expected to ease traffic congestion, especially for those going to and fro Lagos Island.
