A 5-year-old boy was pulled over by the police in Utah, United States while driving his parent’s car to California to buy a Lamborghini.

The boy who was driving an SUV was pulled over by the Utah Highway Patrol in Ogden. The officers initially thought he was an impaired driver or someone experiencing a medical emergency and were shocked to discover it was a young boy.

When questioned, the boy told them he left home after an argument with his mom, in which she refused to buy him a Lamborghini. So he decided to go get one himself. Except that he had only $3 (₦1,172).
A brand-new Lamborghini ranges in price from $200,000 for a Huracan to as much as $5 million for limited edition models.

“He might have been short on the purchase amount, as he only had $3 dollars in his wallet,” state police posted on Twitter.

UHP Sgt. Nick Street confirmed to local outlet KSL that the boy is indeed 5 years old, though the angle at which the photo was taken may have made him look older.

The Highway Patrol is interviewing the boy and his family, but it’s unclear at this time if anyone will face charges.
