American rapper Rich Homie Quan dies at 34
Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan, born Dequantes Devontay Lamar, has passed away aged 34.
On Thursday, September 5, reports of Rich Homie Quan’s death began spreading on X.
Fellow artists like Jacquees and Boosie BadAzz shared the news on social media before his passing was officially confirmed.

Boosie alleged that Quan’s death was a result of overdose.
“JUST GOT WORD @RichHomieQuan JUST OD. JUST TALKED TO WUAN THE OTHER DAY #gomissuni**a,” Boosie shared on X.
It was gathered that Quan passed away at Atlanta hospital,, according to Rolling Stone and The Associated Press.
However, the exact cause of his death has not yet been confirmed.
In 2018, Quan released his debut album, “Rich as in Spirit.” The album was largely a solo effort, with the exception of the single “Think About It,” which featured Rick Ross.
Rich Homie Quan, born in October 1989, was the eldest of three siblings and grew up in a single-parent household.
