Apple Inc has proposed a set of new emojis to accommodate those with disabilities. The emojis, a total of 13, will broadly represent those with vision, hearing, physical and hidden defect.

The tech giant submitted a proposal to the Unicode Consortium, an organisation that is responsible for the coordination of the Unicode standardsaying that this emojis “to better represent individuals with disabilities”. These emojis will “help fill a significant gap and provides a more inclusive experience for all”, it added.

While the tech company that it will be approved by Unicode Consortium, users have said that this as a welcome idea.
