Artist Responsible For The “She Knew” Posters Targeting Meryl Streep Reveals Himself
The posters of Harvey Weinstein and Meryl Streep that mysteriously appeared round L.A have finally been taken responsibility for.
Street artist Sabo his put his name on it on Wednesday calling it a “group effort” after tweeting on Tuesday that he had “absolooooooolutely nothing” to do with it.
The poster shows Streep posing with a smiling Weinstein, with “She knew” written in white text on a red stripe that covers her eyes. The picture which suggests that Meryl Streep knew bout Weinstein’s multiple records of sexual misconduct but still decided to work with him hs stirred quite the controversy since it was posted.
On Wednesday, Sabo tweeted an image of Weinstein with Jennifer Lawrence, her eyes similarly covered by an inappropriate hashtag and on Thursday, he tweeted a picture of a poster for the new movie “The Post” edited with the words “I knew” and “We all knew” in Streep and co-star Tom Hanks’ mouths.
The Oscar winner has said repeatedly that she didn’t know about Weinstein’s actions.
