Fans React To Kourtney Kardashian’s Racially Offensive Outfit
Kourtney Kardashian is facing criticism after her recent fashion choice sparked accusations of being “racially offensive.”
One person said: “I love Kourtney and I love hockey – but this is NOT it.”
The reality star’s outfit has garnered negative feedback from some fans who found it inappropriate.
During a visit to Malibu, Kourtney was seen wearing a jersey displaying the logo of the Chicago Blackhawks hockey team. A fan then wrote: “Ain’t no way Kourtney confidently wore that jersey. That’s insane.”
She opted to wear the jersey as a dress, complementing it with a long black coat and knee-high boots while enjoying a dinner outing with her husband, Travis Barker, at the Greek restaurant Taverna Tony on Friday.
The comments keep pouring in, with a fan posting, “She just grabs a shirt from Travis’s closet and pairs it with high socks and creepers everyday. Sometimes baggy pants, sometimes the shirt is the dress.”
The backlash prompted several Kardashian fans to express their disappointment on Reddit, as reported by The US Sun.
A thread on the platform labelled the ensemble as “problematic,” leading to a debate among users about its appropriateness.
Another pointed out why it was deemed offensive, noting that while other teams have animals as their logo, the Blackhawks use the image of a person from a marginalised group.
They said: “I understand it’s sports but it’s still gross.”
