In the new movie, Hollywood’s A-list actor Denzel Washington reprises his role as the enigmatic Robert McCall, the man to call if you have a problem and there is nowhere else to turn and savior of the oppressed and downtrodden. In the sequel, he embarks on a mission to avenge the death of his best friend and colleague Susan Plummer (Mellisssa Leo). On a revenge mission, McCall must take on a crew of assassins who are out to destroy him completely. The Equalizer 2 is Denzel Washington’s first sequel and the first sequel of his career.

Silverbird Film Distribution, an independent film distributor of theatrical films in Nigeria, distributes the movie. Established in July 2007, the firm has earned a reputation as a trusted partner in the film supply chain services industry and continues to be the resource for some of the most invigorating voices in modern cinemas.
It would be recalled that The Equalizer has grossed over $87.4 million in the U.S alone and stars Denzel Washington in the lead role, while Pedro Pascal, Ashton Sanders, Melissa Leo, and Bill Pullman played supporting roles.
