Meet Theophilus Oluchukwu Ezenwa (On action OKWANU THEO), who has envisioned and passionately worked his way into the limelight as an undisputed and significant celebrity video editor and cinematographer in the entertainment industry of Nigeria.

Theo Ezenwa started his editing career in 2014 after he graduated from a higher institution by apprenticing in COBI TV. After 2 years of gaining knowledge in this field, he kicked off his career by shooting, editing, and directing musical videos and documentaries.

In his catalogue are Nigerian celebrities and superstars such as E-money, Cubana Chief Priest, Pete Edochie, Larry Gaga, Diamond Okechi, Poco Lee, B. Red Adeleke, Soso Soberekon and much more.

In this journey to mastery, Theo Ezenwa took a bold step towards developing his own entertainment empire, First Mate Multimedia, a media company, which is into marketing, general contract, visual and audio production. This production filmed its first licensed movie in the year 2017 (Obeleze) for Africa Magic, amongst others. After many years of hard work, He bagged his first two projects (I refuse to be poor for Nollywood Nameste TV and Cupid’s Arrow for Magic Movies Production). Despite the challenges, Theo Ezenwa faced in his journey to greatness, he remained focused and persevered to achieve his goals as a celebrity editor.

Theo Ezenwa’s meteoric rise to prominence became evident as he passed through the auditions and training of Rok Studios Nigeria. He emerged as one of the best editors among others. He has edited countless movies for them as well. They include  Quest for Love, Beyond Pardon, Stand by Me, and Osondu, among many others.

This was a kick-off to his career as a celebrity editor. His contributions to the entertainment industry in redefining Nigeria on filmmaking Have made a long-lasting impression on the international scope. As a multifaceted individual, Theo Ezenwa and his team (First Mate Multimedia) are currently running a celebrity podcast, “Where is the lie?,” a platform where only truth is revealed, and fantasies become a reality. People of different calibre and professions attend this show with the oration of their different fields.
