The African Food Network just announced the 5th edition of the African Food & Drinks Festival, and it’s coming back to Muri Okunola Park on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

If you’ve ever attended the festival before, you already know what it feels like when food, music, and culture come together in one space. And if you haven’t, this is the perfect time to experience it for yourself.

This year marks five years since the very first edition was held in Abuja. Since then, the festival has become one of the most exciting celebrations of African food and culture anywhere on the continent. It’s the kind of event that brings people together: families, friends, food lovers, and curious explorers. Whether you’re coming for the food, the music, the people, or just the vibes, there’s something for everyone.

Expect a full day of activities, delicious food, and pure African energy. There’ll be vendors from across the city, DJs spinning your favourite tunes, cooking battles, dance showcases, and spaces for families and professionals to relax and connect. It’s not just a food event; it’s a cultural movement.

Israel Adaji, the Head of Events, African Food Network, says this 5th edition is personal. “Lagos is a cultural and economic landmark in Africa, so it makes sense to come back after the reception we had in the last edition we did here,” he said. “This festival has grown because of the people who believe in what we’re doing, using food to bring Africans together. We’re excited to be back here.”

If you’re in Lagos this October, this is one event you don’t want to miss.

Registration is now open and entry is free, but spaces fill up fast. To get access to updates, special perks, and VIP areas, head over to festival.afrifoodnetwork.com and register now.

The countdown has begun. Get ready to be united by food.
