Netflix Unveils The Trailer Of ‘Young, Famous & African’ Season 2
Netflix has unveiled the trailer of ‘Young, Famous, & African’ season two. The reality show opens on May 19, 2023. It is a star-studded line up of Khanyi Mbau, Bonang Matheba, Diamond Platnumz, Nadia Nakai, Swanky Jerry, Annie Macaulay-Idibia, Andile Ncube, Naked DJ, Zari Hassan, 2Baba, Kayleigh Schwark, Fantana, and Luis Munana. Peace Hyde, Martin Asare Amankwa, Adelaide Joshua-Hill and Shahir Chundra are executive producers of Famous & African Season 2, which is directed by Wesley Masilo Makgamatha.

Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ Is Set To Break New Record
With 35 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Nigerian singer, Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ has set a new African record, surpassing its previous record by debuting at No. 5 and becoming the highest-charting African song. The song has reached several milestones, including, receiving a diamond certification in France, platinum certifications in the UK and US, and various certifications in other countries. Furthermore, it became the first African single to top the Billboard Pop Radio chart and holds the record for the longest-running No. 1 song on the Billboard US Afrobeat Songs chart.

Rema Set To Share Stage With Chris Gayle In Mumbai
Meanwhile, the artiste teamed up with Chris Gayle for a three-city tour of India. The tour kicked off at JLN Stadium in New Delhi on May 12, followed by the Mumbai leg at the NSCI Dome on May 13. Chris Gayle and Arko Pravo Mukherjee will perform on the Mumbai leg of the tour. Rema’s performances features a unique stage setup, including inflatable neon mushrooms, an illuminated horse carousel, dehorned roses, and metal barrels with graffiti. Additionally, he is primed to make grand entrances on stage with a lowrider-style bicycle, rickshaw, and quad bike, accompanied by a 6ft life-sized stuffed teddy bear mascot.

Tiwa Savage Makes Historic Performance At King Charles III’s Coronation
Popular Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, made history as she performed at the King Charles III coronation concert held on the East Lawn at Windsor Castle. She performed her song, ‘Keys to the Kingdom’. Tiwa posted her performance video on her Instagram page, with the caption, “One day, I will tell my son that this is ‘Tiwa Savage’.” Among the guests in attendance were the Prince and Princess of Wales, who watched the performances of Tiwa, Take That, Katy Perry and Olly Murs from the Royal Box. Prince William also paid a heartfelt tribute to his “Pa” in a moving speech, and the crowd joined together to sing the national anthem.
