Nigerian Chef Sets Cook-a-thon Record
Hilda Baci, a talented chef from Nigeria, achieved a remarkable feat on Monday night by establishing a new Guinness World Record for the longest individual cooking time, clocking in at 100 hours. Surpassing the previous record set by Indian chef, Lata Tondon, Hilda initially aimed to cook for 96 hours, but astonishingly pushed herself further, reaching the impressive milestone at 8.00 p.m. after making an unexpected U-turn at 4 p.m. Baci is no stranger to cooking competitions, having emerged victorious in the inaugural edition of the Jollof Face-Off Competition in 2021.
