How To Make Delicious Chicken Yassa
Africa is indeed blessed with rich cultures, food, and talents. Senegalese Chicken Yassa is a mouth-watering West African comfort food. Think of a tender chicken with lots of caramelized spicy onions in lemon sauce, now you know :).
INGREDIENT
Chicken
Onion (diced)
Cooking oil
Lemon juice
Garlic (minced)
Pepper (ground)
Mustard
METHOD
Marinate the chicken with onions, lemon juice, garlic, mustard and cooking oil for 3 hours or overnight, if preferred.
Grill the chicken for 30-40 minutes, then add the marinade. Sauté them until golden and caramelized.
Place chicken into a pot. Place pepper in the middle and onions. Simmer in a preheated 3500 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
