Rap superstar Kendrick Lamar and R&B starlet SZA landed their very first Oscar nominations in the category of Best Song for their collaborative soundtrack standout, “All The Stars.”

While neither Lamar nor SZA have taken to social media to react to the exciting news just yet, their Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) record label president, Punch, sent out a celebratory just as the nomination was announced.

Kendrick and SZA’s collaboration for Black Panther, All the Stars, is among the five finalists in the category. Their biggest competition is undoubtedly Shallow, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s smash duet from A Star is Born, which already captured Best Song at the 2019 Golden Globes.
However, the Black Panther soundtrack has also scored a massive eight Grammy nominations total for this year, which includes four nominations for “All The Stars.”
