Filmmaker and media entrepreneur, Mo Abudu, has unveiled more actors joining the film adaptation of The Secret Lives of Baba Segi’s Wives.

She shared the update on Monday through her Instagram page as work continues on the movie, which is based on Lola Shoneyin’s well-known novel.

The film is expected to hit cinemas worldwide during the Christmas season in December 2026.

Abudu said the project is still growing, with more talents coming on board to help tell the story on the big screen.

The production also brings together four major African film and media companies, EbonyLife Group, Genesis Group, Nile Media Entertainment Group, and Silverbird Group.

The partnership marks EbonyLife’s return to cinema distribution after spending the last five years focused mainly on streaming projects.
