Nicki Minaj Announces New Album Title, Release Date, and Tour
Rapper Nicki Minaj has announced the title and shift back of the release date of her upcoming fifth studio album, as well as plans for a supporting tour.
Minaj took to Twitter to share the news with her fans, writing: “Dear Barbz, I’ve been trying to find the right time to tell you this for a few days. Due to some really exciting news that I’ll share with you guys @ a later time, I’ve shifted the album date just a tad bit. But nonetheless, you. will. love. this. album. And she shall be called #PinkFriday2.”
The original Pink Friday was a blockbuster success, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in 2010. It has since been certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Minaj has also announced plans for a Pink Friday 2 tour, which will kick off in early 2024.
