Nollywood actress Enado Odigie and her husband, Nigerian filmmaker Tola Odunsi, have welcomed their first child.

Odigie announced the birth in an Instagram post, saying she gave birth a few months ago.

She described her son as the “center of my universe” and said she is enjoying “every moment” of motherhood.

“Hey guys. I know it’s been a minute. I’ve been busy with life but mostly with doing the most important thing I have ever done in my life…… being a mom,” she wrote.

“A few months ago, I gave birth to the most adorable little boy and he has been the center of my universe and I’m loving every moment. Well, most of it. Anyways, I promise to come out of hibernation soon. In the meantime, I’m sending all my love Always, Iya A.”

The actress did not disclose the baby’s name or exact date of birth.

Fans and colleagues also took to the comment section to congratulate the couple.

The couple held a private wedding in February 2025 and later announced the pregnancy in May 2025 during their traditional wedding celebration in Benin, Edo State.

The Guardian had, in January, also reported that Nollywood actress Bidemi Kosoko, daughter of veteran actor Jide Kosoko, welcomed a new child.

The announcement was made in an Instagram post by the actress’ sister, Sola Kosoko, who praised God while celebrating the new addition.
