Rita Ora is set to perform a medley of her hit songs during the upcoming Eurovision semi-finals, while Rebecca Ferguson will be performing in Liverpool.
In a recent interview on the BBC’s Eurovisioncast Podcast, Ferguson described the event as a celebration of Liverpool and Ukraine through music and announced she will be singing a duet with Ukrainian artist Alyosha.
Ferguson joked about her upcoming performance since she gave birth saying, “I’m hoping to squeeze into some kind of dress. “I’m looking forward to it because it’ll be my first work event where I get to dress up because I’ve just been mummy for the past few weeks”.
Other Ukrainian artists set to perform include Mariya Yaremchuk, OTOY, and Zlata Dzyunka, symbolizing the UK’s hosting of the song contest on behalf of Ukraine under this year’s slogan “United by Music.”
The event is expected to attract around 160 million viewers, and Ferguson joked that she was looking forward to dressing up for her first work event since becoming a mother.
