Following the global trends of Afrobeats as one of the leading musical genres, ace musician, Afro Pop superstar Osayuwu Samuel popularly known as Sammie Cross, has released his highly anticipated EP ‘SPARKLING’, after the release of his Cruise and Storm EP in 2022.

The singer and rapper took to his Instagram and X (formally twitter) page on Friday 20th of October 2023 to announce the incoming sparkling EP consisting of 9 tracks.

On the opener, would you be mine, Sammie seems to be wooing his long time crush who we are yet to uncover while in the track 3 New Money which is the hit track off the EP, he sings about a new currency that can be developed to be the global currency and legal means of legar tender to bring world peace.

The project is a fantastic Afro Pop masterpiece that talks about his life experience and journey so far in the industry.

In his own words, ‘This is what I meant when I previously said that all my songs are Next Rem Sounds, my inspiration is divine, fresh and all my sounds are outstanding.

Sparkling is a project of light to spark you in a good mood anytime. I feel it has come to a time to spice up afrobeats and i believe this EP is bringing love, happiness and peace.

Sparkling is Sammie’s second EP while he is expected to drop his debut album in the early part of 2024.
