See Reactions As Ooni Of Ife Takes Prophetess As Wife
Marriage they say is between a man and a woman and all third parties beware. This is not the case for the union between the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi and prophetess Naomi Oluwaseyi.
Since news broke that the traditional ruler had plans to marry a new wife, of course, everyone clamoured to know the identity of the lucky maiden.
Alas, she is a prophetess and some people are expressing their unsought concern with the seeming conflicting interest in religion forgetting that love they say, conquers all.
But that has not stopped some concerned individuals from expressing their thoughts in the matter via Twitter.
The Ooni of Ife who happens to be a traditionalist, born into a Christian family and a practicing Muslim religion takes a bride (Morenke Naomi) who is a Prophetess. The volume of "Power" in this marriage is enough to power a transformer 🙆🙆 pic.twitter.com/Pp0eqTshVq

Ooni of Ife marries the third wife and everyone is super cool with it but imagine an average lady getting married to her third husband 😂

God you are great. My first encounter with the new wife Ooni of Ife was in 2016 at Sunview Hotel in Akure, the State Capital. At the meeting, she addressed few journalists about her crusade programme in the state. My question is this, can an Evangelist marry an Idol Worshiper? pic.twitter.com/ILtFrqF3KS

Infact, I don’t even know. It’s not mine to understand anyway.
The Ooni Of Ife is marrying a prophetess.
Could she be the Esther of our time?🤔 pic.twitter.com/EoPvFPKFfb

My own question is – will she partake in the rituals and shrine outings once she moves into the Ooni of Ife's palace?

This union is very unlikely..a christian woman marrying a traditionalist who has been twice married previously.. not trying to judge, but something aint right.
