Some designers play it safe; Kaffy doesn’t. Since launching her label in 2020, Kafayat Damilola Saliu has made a name for herself with designs that celebrate modern femininity: bold, sculptural, and soft all at once. Her latest 2025 collection takes that DNA and amplifies it, with structured silhouettes, statement details, and wearable drama that turns heads for all the right reasons.
Look 1: The bow that commands attention
This navy mini dress is the kind of piece that walks in before you do. The silhouette is simple: straight, clean, almost understated. But then you get to that oversized porcelain-blue bow sweeping across the shoulders. It’s architectural, artistic, and unapologetically bold.
The printed fabric adds contrast against the plain navy base, while the matching sleeves tie the look together. The bow frames the face beautifully, giving it that couture-like polish.

Still, the proportions could use tweaking. The bow’s tails extend a bit far, slightly overwhelming the torso. Trimming them or redirecting their flow would create balance. A bit more shaping at the waist could also add definition without stealing attention from the sculptural detailing.
Even with that, this is high-fashion energy done right: equal parts elegance and attitude.
Look 2: Black, white, and powerful
This striped gown is drama in motion. With its long sleeves, high neck, and vertical stripes, it instantly elongates the frame. The clever use of line width keeps the look bold without becoming dizzying, while the ruffled panels along the skirt bring movement and flair.
The bell cuffs echo that rhythm, although they verge on excessive. Slightly narrowing them would let the side ruffles shine without competition. The ruffles themselves are the highlight, breaking the rigidity of the stripes and creating dynamic flow as the wearer moves.
A small adjustment to their placement, angling them subtly toward the back, would frame the body more flatteringly. Right now, they fall straight down, which can widen the hips unnecessarily. Still, the piece remains stunning: old-Hollywood grace meets contemporary drama.
Look 3: Pink, playful, and full of personality
There’s nothing shy about this pink satin number. The soft hue says “sweet,” but the giant black-and-pink floral applique at the bodice says “don’t underestimate me.” That circular bloom transforms a simple dress into something memorable.
The silhouette, with a fitted bodice, full skirt, and asymmetrical hem, is striking. The high-low cut shows off the legs beautifully, though the back hem feels a bit heavy compared to the front. A softer curve could make movement look more fluid.
The hip gathers add volume and shape, but their placement could be higher to flatter the waistline. Lower, they risk adding bulk where it’s least desired.
Still, this look carries charm. It’s youthful, expressive, and modern, blending romance with a touch of rebellion.
The verdict
Kaffy’s 2025 collection is proof that bold design doesn’t need to sacrifice femininity. Each piece tells a story of confidence, creativity, and careful construction. With a few refinements, these looks could go from great to iconic. But even now, they capture what makes the brand special: clothes that move like art and speak like power.
