Patrick Xavier Clark, the alleged perpetrator in the murder of Takeoff, a member of the Migos rap group, has now faced formal charges for the shooting incident resulting in Takeoff’s death.

A murder indictment was issued against Clark by a Texas grand jury on Thursday, as confirmed by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office to KHOU.

On a fateful night in November, Takeoff was tragically shot and killed outside a bowling alley in Houston while enjoying a gathering with Quavo. What initially began as a celebratory occasion took a turn for the worse when an argument ensued, leading to a physical altercation that ultimately ended in a fatal shooting.

Clark was subsequently arrested by the Houston Police Department in December, with allegations stating that he was responsible for firing the shots that claimed Takeoff’s life.

It is important to recall that according to the coroner’s report, Takeoff sustained gunshot wounds to the head and torso. Police authorities have affirmed that Takeoff was unarmed and an innocent bystander was caught in the crossfire.
