A 22-year-old lady and her 14-year-old brother have accused comedians Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears of grooming and sexually abusing them while they were children in a lawsuit that was filed on Tuesday.

The siblings listed as Jane Doe and John Doe are are suing the defendants for allegedly coercing them to participate in explicit skits when Jane was 14 and John was 7 that, in turn, “traumatized them for life.”

John was allegedly “groomed and molested” by both defendants, according to the lawsuit.

Spears and Haddish are both charged in the complaint with intentionally causing emotional distress, willful misconduct, sexual violence, sexual harassment, and sexual abuse of a minor.

Haddish is also charged with constructive fraud, violation of fiduciary duty, and negligent supervision and failure to warn. In addition the suit asks for general, special and punitive damages as well as any applicable statutory damages.

In a statement to The Post, Haddish’s attorney, Andrew Brettler, noted that the suit contain “bogus” claims.

He said the plaintiff’s mother “has been trying to assert these bogus claims against Ms. Haddish for several years.  Every attorney who has initially taken on her case — and there were several — ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down.”

He added that her mother “has her adult daughter representing herself in this lawsuit. The two of them will together face the consequences of pursuing this frivolous action.”

Debra Opri, speaking to The Post said “He isn’t going to fall for any shakedown.”

According to a story in the Daily Beast, the mother of the kids had met Haddish while she was in the comedy scene.

In 2013, while attending a comedy camp, Haddish is reported to have asked their mother whether Jane may record a skit, but the complaint claims that only Haddish and Spears were aware of its content.
