Ikogosi Warm Spring

Ekiti State, the home of Ikogosi warm spring, is blessed with some of the most picturesque and friendly ambiance. Its has a unique natural phenomenon where warm water pushes out from the belly of the ground, and flows down a small hill. A little further from where the warm water springs out which has a temperature of 70°C, there is also a spot where the cold water which is also 37°C is gushing out. Side by side with the warm water, the water flows down foaming a small stream in the process.

It is a geological wonder to have such occurrence out of the same rock formation and this Ekiti flagship tourist destination is said to be the only one of its kind discovered anywhere in the world. The warm and cold springs of Ikogosi originate from a close proximity, come to a meeting point and flow onward together with each spring retaining its thermal identity. Ikogosi warm and cold spring has many recreational facilities like warm water swimming pool, chalets, beautifully manicured garden, reception building and 1000 capacity amphitheater, arts and crafts centre.

Obudu Mountain Resort

Obudu Mountain Resort is situated in the highlands of Cross River State, above the sea level on the Oshie Ridge of the famous Sankwala Mountains sits majestically the Obudu Mountain Resort. Its prominence as a wildlife destination of choice dates back to the 60s, and since then Yankari has gained global recognition as a great destination for classic West African wildlife.

It is referred to as Nigeria’s Garden of Eden, the location is simply amazing and it boasts of natural formations such as the Marshall Cave Systems and the Wikki warm springs which provide cool and clear natural swimming facilities for visitors.

Ogbunike Cave

Ogbunike Caves in the Oyi Council Area of Anambra State, It is situated in Ogba Hills in Ogbunike. According to the traditional people in ogba, the cave was discovered by a hunter called Ukwa. The entrance to the five tunnels of the cave is a wide and tapering hemispherical vault of rock .The naturally-carved network of tunnels and chambers has two levels. The lower level is 100m long, which leads to an underground river. The upper level is twice as long and dry, and a bat colony and a waterfall sit at the north-western end.The main cave consists of a massive structure with a big open chamber of about 5m high, 10m wide and 30m long at the entrance. Within the tunnels are big chambers and other tunnels of varying lengths, some of which are interconnected.

Awhum Waterfall and Cave

Awhum waterfall is situated at Amaugwe village of Awhum town in Udi local government area, Enugu. This beautiful Awhum waterfall is as a result of massive outcrop of granite rock with water cascading over the top forming a stream. A section of the waterfall is always warm through the season. Awhum boasts of numerous immaculate lakes, waterfall and a monastery. The waterfall forms beautiful scenery where water cascades over its top forming a stream, which has become a religious tourist site. The water is said to have healing power and capable of dispelling evil or satanic forces if and wherever sprinkled.
