The long-awaited biggest African movie award show, the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, eleventh edition, is finally here.

It is set to hold on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.

The event, which already began on Wednesday with the Icons Night, has ushered in nominated actors and actresses to be appreciated for their talents and efforts in African TV shows and movies.

Here are five things to look out for at the 2025 AMVCA awards night:

1. The red carpet will be hosted by Nigerian on-air personalities, Rakiya Abdul Karim, VJ Adams, and Uti Nwachukwu.
2. Celebrities will bedazzle fans with their exquisite fashion styles on the red carpet.
3. The best-dressed female and male will be duly recognised and awarded as well.
4. Emotional speeches from the presenters and awardees.
5. The drama, glitz, and fun that come with the after-party.
