THE Abia State House of Assembly has suspended indefinitely its Minority Leader and spokesman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) lawmakers, Abraham Oba.

Oba (Aba Central Constituency) was replaced as minority leader by Ikedi Ezekwesili (Umunneochi constituency) in the 24-member House comprising 13 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and 11 APGA.

The suspended lawmaker had addressed the media on the Assembly’s resolution on the N30 billion loan approved for the state government, which it said disregarded House Rules, ridiculed and embarrassed the legislature.
