Abia drives human capital development agenda with Eno Eze at forefront

The Abia State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to human capital development, with Dr. Eno Jerry Eze, Chairman of the Civil Service Commission and State Focal Person for HCD, at the forefront of the initiative.

Speaking at the inaugural Human Capital Development Workshop in Umuahia, Dr. Eno Eze described HCD as a pathway to sustainable growth and a thriving society. She emphasised that the government’s focus on education, skills training, healthcare, and empowerment is designed to unlock productivity and improve the quality of life for every citizen.

Dr. Eno Eze praised Governor Alex Otti’s administration for prioritising the well-being of the people, noting that Abia has already made strides with the inauguration of the Abia HCD Council and the launch of the HCD 1.0 Work Plan.

“By empowering individuals with skills, knowledge, and opportunities, we can unlock new levels of productivity, innovation, and quality of life,” said Dr. Eno Eze.

Her leadership underscores Abia’s determination to align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and build an inclusive economy where no one is left behind.

With her drive, passion, commitment and innovation, it is a no-brainer that Dr. Eno Eze will lead Abia State to greater heights in the area of human capital development and bring the state at par with others in harnessing human capital prowess to attain greater proficiency and efficiency, which in turn will impact the overall prosperity of the nation.
