THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje has called on voters in areas where the card readers malfunctioned or where the electoral officials arrived late to be patient with the process.

Agbaje spoke after casting his vote at polling unit 09,ward C in Apapa Local Government Area. He said:”The card readers worked well here.

Every other things worked well. But that is not the report, we are getting in other parts of the state. It is taking longer than planned in some areas. They should be patient.

Where accreditation started late, voting will last longer. They must be patient to go through the process.
“It is not a time to create trouble. If it lasts into the second day, it is worth the price. I wished every polling unit was like mine.”

The PDP governorship candidate said he hoped whatever lapses observed would be corrected before the April 11 elections.
