Amachree urges DSS to Ignore ‘publicity-seeking’ Sowore
Following the arrest and release of Sahara Reporters publisher Omoyele Sowore by the Nigerian secret police, a former Director of the secret police, Mr. Dennis Amachree, has urged his colleagues not to waste precious time on the activist, whom he described as “publicity-seeking.”
According to Amachree, great revolutionists don’t stage publicity stunts.
“The DSS should not waste valuable time on publicity-seeking Sowore. Great men and revolutionists don’t stage publicity stunts by hiring crowds or cameramen wherever they travel.
“Sowore likes to hire cameramen when arriving in the U.S. at Newark’s Liberty International Airport or a small noisy crowd at the Murtala Muhammed Airport to welcome him from the USA.
“What Nigeria needs now are true transformative revolutionists, not self-seeking individuals on a personal agenda.”
