Amosun, Adeola mourn Ayodeji Otegbola

Former Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, has mourned the Third Republic lawmaker that represented Ogun West Senatorial District, Ayodeji Otegbola, who died on Monday, February 17, 2025, at the age of 91 years.
Amosun, in a statement by his media aide, Lanre Akinwale, lauded the immense contributions of Otegbola to the development of Aworiland, Ogun West, Ogun State and Nigeria in general.
He described the deceased as a respected elder statesman and community leader who exuded an unwavering passion for the cause of Aworiland, exemplified by his chieftaincy title of Asiwaju of Aworiland.
Also, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations and senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, has expressed shock and sadness at passing of Otegbola.
In a condolence message, Adeola described Otegbola as a competent parliamentarian who will be missed not only by his family, but the people of Ogun State and Nigeria.
