Leading gospel artists, including Sola Allyson, Yinka Alaseyori, and Bidemi Olaoba, have been slated to perform at the ninth edition of the annual gospel music gathering, Luli Concert (LC9).
The concert, which will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Onikan, Lagos, convened by El Berachah Worship Ministry for the Celestial Church of Christ, is themed “Garment of Praise,” drawn from Isaiah 61:3, and is expected to draw thousands of worshippers to TBS while millions follow online.
LC9 will feature other gospel artists such as Kent Edunjobi, Dotvocals, Oluwanisings, Glorious Twins, CCC Apete, and the Celestial Church of Christ Central Choir led by Dr. Rotimi Olaosebikan. Other confirmed ministers include Dee Reign, Nazarite, Eniola Olusoga, Seyi Solagbade, Evangelist Akin Adebayo, and Imoleayo.
According to the organisers, the concert is designed to be more than a music festival, describing it as a platform for spiritual encounter and collective praise.
Speaking at a press conference in Lagos to herald the event, the convener, Luli Concert, Dr. Gbenga Daniel Adebayo, said the concert was not conceived by human ambition but through divine inspiration in 2016, with a mandate to raise an altar of praise to God.
“Since its inception, Luli Concert has grown into a sacred assembly of believers. Every song rendered, every word spoken, every testimony shared, and every act of service at the concert is an offering to Almighty God,” he said.
On this year’s theme, Adebayo added: “Garment of Praise is a reminder that even in the midst of challenges, God clothes His people through worship. LC9 is more than a concert—it is a soul-lifting gathering where thousands will unite to exalt the King of Kings.”
Chairperson of Luli Concert 2025, Yetunde Akinlalu, said: “Our theme this year is a reminder that praise is both our response and our weapon in times of trial. Despite the challenges our nation faces, there is so much to be thankful for. It is therefore vital that we raise our voices in worship, prayer, and praise this year,” she said.
As in previous editions, the LC9 concert will be preceded by several outreach programmes aimed at extending impact beyond the stage. These include a medical outreach for underserved communities, a music masterclass and choirmasters’ conference for gospel creatives, the Luli Walk for fitness and fellowship, a vigil, and the popular open mic challenge, which gives emerging artistes a platform to showcase their talent.
In line with its tradition of introducing a new initiative each year, LC9 will debut a “Back to School” outreach in 2025, designed to support children from disadvantaged backgrounds with educational supplies as schools resume.
