General Superintendent, Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, has urged Nigerians to cultivate a habit of giving thanks to God, irrespective of unfavourable situations in which they may find themselves.

According to him, doing so could open doors of solutions to their problems.

Kumuyi gave the admonition, yesterday, at the headquarters of the church, where he and members celebrated 50 years of the ministry’s existence.

“We thank God for the uniqueness of Deeper Life as a Bible church that has stood for holiness without shifting ground, despite every challenge that would have made us compromise. We give glory to God for upholding us, and we are resolute and believe that the good Lord who has upheld us for 50 years would continue to keep us standing,” he said.

Kumuyi also charged pastors of the church and members to maintain focus on holiness and other doctrines, including salvation and Holy Ghost baptism.

In his message, titled ‘Marching forward with Fresh Vision into Future Destiny’, Kumuyi said, as Joshua in the Bible was encouraged not to be afraid after taking over from Moses, but moved forward boldly, so, the church will march forward without getting tired.
