Bauchi man to donate September salary for Oluremi Tinubu’s birthday

A diehard Tinubu supporter in Bauchi State, Khamis Musa, has pledged to donate his September salary to support the 65th birthday anniversary of Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

The First Lady had urged well-wishers who plan to gift her birthday packages and send congratulatory messages via newspapers to send money into a dedicated account to fund a National Library project.

She said: “By the special grace of God, I will be turning 65 years old on the 21st September 2025, and this happens to be a Sunday.

“This is why I have decided to dedicate the day to God for all his blessings in my life and have a quiet birthday,” she said.

“I wish to appeal to those who would like to send a birthday card, cakes, flowers, greetings in the newspapers, or gifts to please send the funds to the designated account for a special project close to my heart, among many others.

“The completion of the National Library, this would be the best birthday present I could receive.

“My love for education has informed my decision to dedicate my birthday to this worthy cause,” she added.

Meanwhile, Khamis had offered to support her with his September salary. According to him, the President’s wife meant well for the education sector in the country and needed to be supported by Nigerians.
