BSN congratulates The Guardian on 40th anniversary

The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) has extended its congratulations to the Publisher of The Guardian Newspaper, Lady Maiden Alex-Ibru on the 40th anniversary of what it described as “robust and excellent journalism demonstrated over the years.”

In a letter signed the General Secretary/CEO of BSN, Pastor Samuel Sanusi, he wrote: “Your fearless, in-depth, insightful objective and accurate news coverage has been exceptional and your team’s relentless pursuit of the truth and unbiased reporting have set a high standard for the industry and have set you apart as the Flagship of Nigerian journalism. You have consistently demonstrated your ability to push the boundaries of what is possible in print journalism, and your unwavering commitment to quality has been an inspiration to us all.

“We also recognise and appreciate your immense contributions and support to evangelism in the country through The Ibru Centre, a weekly pull-out in The Guardian on Sunday. We cherish and relish the relationship that exists between The Guardian and the Bible Society of Nigeria. Your immense support is heartily appreciated, ma.”
